By completing the contact form, the franchise form, or registering for the loyalty program, you provide the operator of the website, Crocodille ČR, spol. s r. o., Company ID No.: 43001343, with its registered office at Poděbradská 55/88, 198 00 Prague 9 (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller” or “Personal Data Controller”), with the opportunity to use your personal data. In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR), this page is intended to inform you about what information we collect about you in connection with the provision of accommodation services, why and how we use your information, what rights you have regarding the personal data we use, and how you can exercise those rights with us in accordance with the GDPR.

These Personal Data Processing Principles apply to (i) the processing of personal data carried out by the Controller while you use the website, (ii) the processing of personal data by the Controller in the performance of contracts with business partners and customers, (iii) the processing of personal data in the performance of the Controller’s legal obligations, (iv) the processing of personal data for the purpose of sending commercial communications, (v) the processing of personal data necessary for the protection of the Controller’s legitimate interests, and (vi) any processing of personal data carried out by the Controller on the basis of consent granted by you.

The Personal Data Processing Principles describe the purposes and methods of personal data processing and provide information about the individual categories of personal data processed, their potential recipients, the retention period for personal data, and your rights in relation to personal data protection.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU AND HOW WE USE IT

In connection with registration in the Bageterie Boulevard loyalty program, we process the data entered in the registration form (namely your full name and contact details).

We will also use the contact details from the loyalty program for our record-keeping purposes and for sending information and commercial communications. It is in our legitimate interest to maintain a database of our customers, just as it is in our legitimate interest to contact you through your contact details with our commercial offers. We need to keep records of our customers primarily to protect our rights or in the event of a legal dispute. For marketing and record-keeping purposes, we will process your personal data for 5 years from your last order.

If you express an interest in franchise cooperation and complete our contact form, you will provide us with the personal data specified therein (in particular your name, contact details, and anything you enter in the description). We will use this personal data solely to contact you with an offer of mutual cooperation, and only for the period necessary to determine whether establishing a business relationship between us is acceptable to both parties. Once the data has been used, all personal data entered will be deleted without undue delay.

We will use the personal data you provide to us in the contact form (name and e-mail address) to deal with the message you send us. Once your message has been dealt with, we will delete this personal data without undue delay.

If we create any accounting document containing your personal data, we are legally obliged to archive such accounting document for a period of 10 years.

We may entrust a third party, acting as a processor, with the processing of your personal data. Apart from the Controller’s service providers, persons within the Controller’s group, and franchisees of the Bageterie Boulevard concept, your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties without your prior consent. We would also like to assure you that we do not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Our website contains links to websites that are not operated by Crocodille ČR. If you visit any of these websites, you should familiarize yourself with their personal data protection arrangements. We are not responsible for the practices and policies of other companies.

Other Crocodille ČR websites

All websites of the Controller that are operated by Crocodille ČR comply with this privacy policy. Websites operated by Crocodille ČR respect personal data protection in all cases, including in relation to their customers.

Franchise websites

Many Bageterie Boulevard restaurants are owned and operated by franchisees – holders of a Bageterie Boulevard licence who are independent business operators. Some of them also have their own websites. In many cases, these franchisee websites follow the Crocodille ČR privacy policy. However, please check which privacy policy applies on each such website.

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

The Controller may amend the personal data protection policy where necessary, so we recommend that you review this information from time to time. We assure you, however, that no changes will apply retroactively and that we will not in any way change our principles concerning the handling of data previously obtained.

YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE GDPR AND HOW TO EXERCISE THEM WITH US

RIGHT OF ACCESS TO INFORMATION AND RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION

At any time in the future, you may ask us, by sending a message to info@boulevard.cz, to confirm whether or not your personal data is being processed by us. If your data is being processed by us, at your request, in addition to the information provided in the General Terms and Conditions, these Privacy Principles, and the document containing information on the use of cookies, we may also inform you about any third parties to whom your personal data has been or will be disclosed. If we did not obtain the personal data from you, you have the right to all information available to us regarding the source from which we obtained your personal information.
If we process inaccurate personal data about you, you may notify us by sending a message to info@boulevard.cz, and we will correct the inaccurate personal data without undue delay. By submitting a written request to our customer service department, you may request the deletion of your user account and personal data that is not necessary for further processing.

RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Where we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest, you have the right to object to such processing by sending a message to info@boulevard.cz. If you raise such an objection, we will not be able to continue processing your personal data until we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing and that those grounds override your interests, rights and freedoms, or are necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
If you object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes (for example, for sending commercial communications), we will no longer process your data for direct marketing purposes.

RIGHT TO RESTRICT THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

You have the right to request that we restrict any processing of your personal data, including its deletion, i.e. that we stop handling it:

If you inform us that the personal data we have collected is inaccurate, until its accuracy has been verified.
If the processing of your personal data is unlawful and, instead of requesting deletion, you ask us by sending a message to info@boulevard.cz to restrict its use.
If we no longer need your personal data to provide our services, but you need it in order to exercise your rights.
If you object to processing pursuant to the paragraph above, until we verify whether our grounds for processing override your interests.

RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN (RIGHT TO ERASURE OF PERSONAL DATA)

If you find that we are processing your personal data:
even though its processing is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we obtained it, if you object pursuant to the paragraph above and we are unable to demonstrate legitimate grounds for its processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, and/or if the processing is unlawful, you have the right to request that we delete the personal data processed in this way without undue delay after you notify us of these circumstances by sending a message to info@boulevard.cz. However, we cannot delete the data, even at your request, if its processing is necessary for exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with one of our legal obligations, for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of our legal claims.

RIGHT TO OPT OUT OF COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATIONS AT ANY TIME

If you no longer wish to receive commercial communications from us, you can stop them simply by clicking the link included in each of our commercial communications.

RIGHT TO RECEIVE DATA IN A MACHINE-READABLE FORMAT

If you ask us, by sending a message to info@boulevard.cz.cz, to provide you with the personal data about you that we process, we will send it to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (e.g. *.xls, *.csv, or a similar format). If you ask us to send your personal data to another personal data controller, we will of course comply with your request.

RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT WITH THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION AUTHORITY

If you believe that we are not complying with all of our legal obligations arising in connection with the processing of your personal data, please contact us directly first. If our colleagues are unable to assist you, you naturally have the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection, either at its registered office at Pplk.
