This Chef menu was prepared by Tomáš Popp. Originally a chef well-versed in modern gastronomic trends with a focus on regionality, seasonality and high quality of ingredients. In gastronomy he explores the topics of lifestyle and environment interactions, support of the local economy and sustainability of the land.
Tomas loves cooking and puts a great emphasis on ingredients. He operates farmers' stores in the Pilsen Region and coordinates the best farmers' markets in the Czech Republic. Those have been under his thumb since 2010 when he started collaborating with organic harvest farmers, creating a simple way to connect farmers and food producers with chefs.
In 2016, Tomáš took the leadership of the National Team of Chefs and Confectioners. The year 2018 saw Tomáš and his team winning the world competition in Singapore. Same year, the team managed to finish eighth at the World Cup in Luxembourg.
