It is not only its local wine production, the cultural heritage signed under UNESCO - the Padan Plain region is also rich with succulent vegetables, and its hazelnuts are sought after by chocolatiers of the entire world. Chicken Fontina will whet your appetite with delicate hazelnut dressing. Juicy chicken breasts roasted with herbs are paired with a radicchio salad, grilled with the exquisite Fontina alpine cheese. All is topped with crunchy bits of hazelnuts.
Second baguette is the Beef Brasato. Mouth-watering cuts of beef are slow-roasted with root vegetables and wine, in a manner specific for the Piemonte region of Italy. Meat is complemented with a flavourful and gently sharp dressing of coarse mustard, balsamico-marinated bits of juicy onion and Grana Padano cheese. Delicate nutty flavour is added to the baguette with fresh lamb’s tongue salad. The beef has a very distinctive, strong flavour thanks to the wine and sous-vide method of preparation. Combined with tangy cipollini onions and cheese, it is my favourite baguette of the entire menu.
Spring evenings can still be chilly but the Chickpea soup should cut straight through the cold. Creamy soup of chickpeas is thickened with heavy cream, served with grilled pancetta and croutons.
Lighter and wholesome eats full of flavour will find you in our Fit Calories menu as well. First of which is the vegetable Verdura Wrap, dominated by grilled eggplant and zucchini. Non-conventional combination of lemon ricotta, raisins and fresh mint is sure to provide a pleasant surprise.
Second fit snack is the Salmon & Avocado. Marinated salmon and mashed avocado come together as an all-time favorite between two pieces of grilled pumpkinseed bread, accompanied by a cucumber.
